The eagerly awaited album from Shawn Lee is released on November 8.
The good folks at Will Work 4 Funk and Legere Recordings have teamed up to gives us "Shawn Lee Rides Again".
It's a foray into what is best described as 'country soul'.
This long player is a personal journey into the world of soul inspired country.
Born in America, but now based in London, those maybe unaware of Shawn Lee can expect some amazing tracks from the multi instrumentalist.
Shawn plays virtually every instrument on the album.
But he is also assisted by some quality musicians.... there's haunting pedal steel from Joe Harvey Whyte.
Carwyn Ellis of Edwyn Collins and The Pretenders game weighs in on keyboards.
And there's also contributions from Andy Ross (saxophone) and Everton Nelson (violin).
Open your ears to something a little bit different with some soul country with
