16-Jan-2020 | Fingier Records, brand new release!

Brand new label, Fingier Records

THE new year may only be a few weeks old but Superfly is proud to announce a new label and what rates even at this early stage as a 'must own' record of 2020.

The Kevin Fingier Collective bring out a cracking 7" single on January 24.
It's produced on Fingier Records, an exciting new Acid Jazz subsidiary label.
The new label is dedicated exclusively to soul, r 'n' b, boogaloo and raw funk productions.
This latest label is the work of Argentinian producer Kevin Fingier.
He first came to our attention with his reggae band Los Aggrotones who released an album, "Right Now", on Acid Jazz last year.
The DJ, who co founded the Buenos Aires Soul Club, has done much over the years to promote the Soul & Mod culture in his country.
Now he has put together a house band and come up with two absolute stompers, "Don't Wanna Cry No More" and "Sunglasses After Dark part 1".
Kevin experimented with recording techniques from 50 years ago to get an analogue sound taking the listener straight to the 60's.
The single has already had the seal of approval from Richard Searling.
"Don't Wanna Cry No More", featuring legendary Northern Soul singer Gerri Grainger, is a soul/funk tune with a huge r 'n' b influence.
Whilst B side, "Sunglasses After Dark part 1" is a killer Mod jazz instrumental.
